Jeff J. Li
PRESIDENT
Hey friends! My name is Jeff J. Li, and I’m a fourth-year student studying Psychology and Communication. As President, I’m excited to lead Psi Chi Honor Society and Psychology Club in building a welcoming, engaging community where members can connect, explore psychology, and participate in academic and social opportunities that open doors for their future, foster meaningful connections, and create lasting memories. I hope to see our chapter grow and thrive, reaching more students and creating an environment where everyone feels inspired to explore psychology and get involved.
My interests lie in clinical, personality, and social psychology, and lately, organizational psychology. Last summer, I had the opportunity to take a psychology course at UC Berkeley on intersectionality and mental health. I’ve also completed two internships with Bayside, where I explored mental health and psychology from a theological perspective, while building leadership and communication skills. Together, these experiences have broadened my perspective and shaped a thoughtful approach to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. I aspire to become a therapist / clinical psychologist and am passionate about supporting underrepresented populations.
Outside of academics, I enjoy working out at the gym and my job as a personal trainer, where I aim to integrate psychological principles into training clients. I also enjoy reading books, listening to podcasts, and watching documentaries. Fun fact: I also speak Spanish and Mandarin! Feel free to reach out to me anytime, and say hello if you see me around!
