The Narrative Pre-Health Journal (NPHJ) is an undergraduate, student-run journal inspired by narrative medicine. Our mission is to create spaces for meaningful reflection and discourse about healthcare. We hope to encourage and amplify the voices of those within our pre-health community who cherish vulnerability, empathy, and creativity and those who are seeking avenues to honor stories of illness. NPHJ, along with its seminar and narrative discussions, strives to initiate community engagement with the medical humanities to promote an ethic of approaching healthcare with humility and humanism We hold narrative discussions welcome to all during winter and spring quarters.
