About Us
MyBaltoU is a student-led organization at UC Davis dedicated to supporting companion animals and the community around them. Our mission is to unite students with a passion for animal health and welfare. We plan to provide opportunities for education, community engagement and raise funds to aid pets in need through our partnership with the MyBalto Foundation (an international 501C3 charitable foundation). Through creative fundraisers—such as bake sales, community events, campus donation drives, and collaborations with local businesses—we will generate direct support for MyBalto’s mission of covering urgent veterinary costs for families who cannot otherwise afford care. Every dollar raised goes toward keeping pets healthy, safe, and with the people who love them. Combining education, outreach, and fundraising, we will strive to create a fun and compassionate community where students can make a tangible difference in the lives of animals within our local community, while also learning more about veterinary medicine and animal welfare.
