The goal of the interest group is to promote exploration of the broad specialty of anesthesiology. The SIG will host informational talks from faculty mentors, organize procedure workshops, and facilitate shadowing of anesthesiologists. Given the minimal exposure to peri-operative and pain medicine during third year clerkships at UC Davis, the interest group is an essential component of our school's commitment to training leaders in all areas of medicine.
