About Us

We are an undergraduate community comprised of pre-medical and pre-health students interested in pursuing the field of healthcare and applying to professional school. Pre-Med AMSA at UC Davis was founded in 1985 and has since grown in size to over 300 members. We are dedicated to serving our community through advocacy, volunteerism, and youth-outreach programs. In keeping with the philosophy of AMSA, we seek to provide insightful information for those who are interested in pursuing a medical career. Through guest speakers, community service, and interactions with medical students, Pre-Med AMSA provides information that may help fellow pre-medical students maximize their candidacy in a medical career and create a sincere appreciation for the practice and art of medicine.
