About Us
The Pan-Asian Youth Coalition is a student organization that aims to foster connections across generations and neighborhoods by empowering youth leadership, encouraging creativity, and supporting meaningful, locally-driven change. Cultivating a community of like minded scholars to advocate for the cultural preservation and revitalization of important spaces like Chinatown Square in Sacramento and Locke, the first Chinese neighborhood in the Sacramento Delta. We are engaging with youth in the Davis and Sacramento area and collaborating with organizations like the Friends of Chinatown Square, Lao Family Community Development, and the 1882 Foundation. We abide by our Four C’s—Community, Connections, Collaborations, and Communication— striving to empower Asian ethnic spaces by fostering engagement, uniting sectors, promoting youth-driven innovation, and connecting with stakeholders at all levels.
