About Us

The purpose of the Medical Device Club (MDC) at UC Davis is to promote the field of biotechnology with emphasis on medical device technology and the design thereof. A medical device is a piece of equipment that aids in diagnosis, prevention, monitoring, treatment, or alleviation of a specific disease. The MDC organizes design competitions that are open to students from all majors.
