Mission The Sikh Student Association is an organization at the University of California, Davis that provides students with an environment that allows for a greater exploration of Sikhi. Through hosting Kirtan Nights, Discussions, Socials, Seva (selfless service), Peer Mentoring, and Professional Development Opportunities, we incorporate the three main tenets of Sikhi: Naam Japo (Remembrance of God), Kirat Karo (Honest Work), and Vand Chhako (Sharing With Others). In doing so, we strive to advance the academic and spiritual pursuits of students at UC Davis, as well as build an inclusive and supportive community that serves all.
Membership BenefitsAs members of the Sikh Student Association, students will be able to partake in the Vaddha-Chotta mentoring program and SSA Alumni Association. These two opportunities strive to help students of this organization find support in their academic, personal, and professional lives.
