Mission
Davis Scuba is a student-run organization at the University of California, Davis, dedicated to building a strong community of divers and ocean advocates. Our mission is to promote scuba diving, marine conservation, and environmental awareness while connecting students with opportunities to explore the stunning underwater ecosystems along the California coast and beyond.

We organize dive trips, provide mentorship and advice, and support members through the certification process. We proudly partner with a Sacramento-based scuba shop that offers student discounts on both the PADI Open Water and PADI Advanced Open Water courses, making it more affordable for students to get certified.

Whether you’re an experienced diver or just getting curious, Davis Scuba is a welcoming space to learn, connect, and dive. By growing a community of passionate divers in Davis, we aim to make diving more accessible and share the joy of underwater exploration together.
