Mission
Moot Court at UC Davis is a competitive collegiate Moot Court team that competes as a part of the American Moot Court Association (AMCA), currently ranked 5th overall program in the nation and 1st in Brief Writing. We strive to strengthen our members' skills in appellate advocacy by competing in AMCA's tournaments utilizing a fictional case problem and applying real case precedents to form an argument regarding constitutional issues.

At Oral Advocacy tournaments, competitors are tasked with delivering appellate arguments in front of professional justices. Our teams also participate in the Brief Writing competition by writing an appellate brief. Our meetings center around discussing and practicing these arguments as they relate to that year's case problem. We recruit for Brief Writing in the fall, and Oral Advocacy in the winter.
