I'm All Booked! at UC Davis provides a space for students to socialize / network less formally in a space where they talk about books, what they've been reading or consuming, and others things of interest. We are very intentional about the heuristics that go into creative majors like ours and are looking to resurrect such communal intellectual spaces wherein all students (regardless of their major!) can discuss things that are of interest to them!
Many of us in the major have talked about feeling less inclined and more selective about being exposed to content with which we don’t agree or find pleasurable — something we recognize is a disservice to critical thought — and is something we are looking to undo through this undertaking.
