Fall Quarter – Week 1 Newsletter

We hope your transition into the new academic year is going smoothly and that you’re settling into a good routine. Remember, your Cohort Leader and the GSP Center (16 South Hall) are here to support you—don’t hesitate to reach out!

✅ Updates & Reminders

Quarterly Surveys – Due Friday, October 10
This required survey helps us better understand your questions, concerns, and goals. If you have urgent concerns, email us at guardianscholars@ucdavis.edu.

Experiential Learning Pathway (ELP) – Due Friday, October 10
ELP gives you hands-on learning experiences where you can learn by doing. Students who participate are eligible to receive a stipend or grant depending on their hours each quarter.

Financial Aid Drop-Ins with Leo – Starting Thursday, October 2

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Location: 16A South Hall (Bri’s Office)

  • In-person dates (odd weeks): 10/2, 10/16, 10/30, 11/13

  • Virtual option: Meet with Leo anytime via Zoom (appointment link on GSP LinkTree)

Need Supplies? Come to the GSP Center!

If you are in need of course or school supplies, come to the GSP Center first! We have lab coats, lab goggles, calculators, folders, paper, and more! If we do not have something you need, ask a staff member for support! 

We also have a hygiene pantry and snacks/mini-meals! 

GSP Center Hours of Operation:
Mondays: 9 am - 3 pm
Tuesdays: 9 am - 5p m 
Wednesdays: 9 am - 5 pm
Thursdays: 9 am - 5 pm
Fridays: 9 am - 3 pm
