About Us
The main purpose of this organization is to bring Aggies who appreciate and are passionate about electronic music together in a collaborative space. EDMC can encourage a sense of community and create a safe space for sharing musical ideas and enjoying electronic music and shows together. EDMC also aims to provide outlets for those who want to further pursue electronic music production as a hobby or career. We hope to create workshops for DJing and music mixing along with different guest talks of those in the industry currently. Organizing on-campus events with current EDM artists and informing students about opportunities in the industry is also the main purpose of this organization. EDMC can inspire Aggies and introduce a broad spectrum of new genres and possibilities for those interested. Overall, we hope to bring together a new community of Aggies and maintain a positive vibe. The diversity in the EDM scene is limitless, and we hope to be able to explore and practice the culture of the EDM scene further with other students while promoting festival safety and linking EDM culture with our academics.
