About Us

Davis Bhangra Crew is the first Bhangra team at UC Davis that was established in Fall 2013. Our team is a talented family of students, non-students, dancers and key members of different religions and backgrounds but with the same passion for Bhangra. Davis Bhangra Crew has successfully transformed the dance community at Davis by adding to it the Punjabi culture, power, grace, and happiness that makes Bhangra one of the most enjoyable and exciting dances worldwide. Having commenced from humble beginnings, we have practiced hard with diligence and perseverance and have now paved our way to the competitive platform. We hope to spread our culture and smiles through this meaningful, athletic, and unique dance form of Bhangra to as many audiences as possible.
