We are an organization at the University of California, Davis that builds websites and mobile applications for local organizations that serve the Sacramento and Davis community. Our mission is to code for social good and promote technological growth for our partners. Through these projects, our club members get real-world opportunities to expand their design, technical, teamwork, and communication skills. We are open to all majors and no prior experience is required.

The purpose of this organization will be to identify sources of veterinary medical equipment and supplies available for donation, collect those donations, and distribute them to animal shelters and organizations in need. Donations will be solicited from veterinary hospitals, human hospitals, veterinary colleges, pet stores, medical and supply manufacturers, medical offices (doctor, dentist, vet, etc), medical teaching facilities, and individuals. We will also be focusing on educating our members and other students about how important animal welfare around the world is.

3D Medical Devices or "3DMD" aims to empower students by providing them with opportunities to serve their community. Students use 3D modeling software to design and build prosthetic devices for those in need and of low income communities.

To first preface, no 3D printing/modelling experience needed, we just want someone who's passionate about learning more about it! Half of our current board members started no knowing anything about 3D printing, but we teach you on the way!

Board member benefits:
- Learn more about 3D printing if you're just starting out in 3D printing
- Create your own leadership positions and projects to help build your resume and leadership skills

What you'll do a as board member!
- Hosting/running 3D modelling competitions that solves an issue for local highschools. We've already hosted one for River Valley High and are looking to expand into more local highschools
- Working to join the E-Nable prosthetic project as a club, where we will become an affiliated organisation to print prosthetics for those in need
- Make merch for other clubs and school departments, so far we have worked with Pre-Pharm club on making merch and we'll be working with the art department to host an exhibition for 3D modelling. We're also reaching out to AAA and VSA for a collab
- Fundraising and sponsorships, specifically with sponsorships we're trying to reach out to existing 3D printer manufacturers to sponsor us. We're also looking to fundraise for ourselves, but also other non-profits like a San Jose Library that one of our members is reaching out to.
- Outreach. Both to other 3D printing clubs in other UCs and recruiting members, so in the sense of liaisons and making posts for our social media accounts. We're also working towards getting a supervisor.
- We're also interested in picking up new projects and ideas!

Active Minds is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising mental health awareness among college students, via peer-to-peer dialogue and interaction. Active Minds was founded by Alison Malmon in 2003, after her older brother died by suicide in 2000. / Active Minds is a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, DC whose purpose is to develop and support chapters that are student mental health awareness groups on college campuses across North America. One of these chapters is located at the University of California, Davis. Active Minds at UC Davis strives to raise awareness and educate about mental health issues and mental illnesses, provide students with information about campus and community resources, and encourage students to seek help as soon as it's needed.

The transition between high school and college can be especially difficult, and our goal is to make that as smooth and fun as possible! The mission of the ACVIM Student Chapter at UC Davis is to educate veterinary students about ACVIM specialization through residency training in cardiology, oncology, SA internal medicine, and neurology by engaging in Journal Clubs, Rounds, Wet Labs and Lunch Talks. Our goals are to inform students of the importance of interpreting current literature and practicing how to integrate lecture material into a clinical setting. We also aim to provide educational experiences that go beyond what is presented in the lectures and labs of our curriculum.

Advanced Modeling Aeronautics Team (AMAT) is an organization that teaches undergraduate students the necessary hands-on experience to design, build, and fly scale model remote-controlled (RC) airplanes.
AMAT competes in the annual SAE Aero Design competition. We build and fly large, remote-controlled aircraft made primarily from composite materials such as carbon fiber, honeycomb aluminum, and foam. AMAT utilizes education and teamwork to gain experience in design and manufacturing techniques, while integrating past successes with innovation to create a smarter and more advanced aircraft.

Navigating the application process to attend post graduate can be difficult and even overwhelming. Without first hand experience the learning curve can be prohibitive to achieving successful/anticipated outcomes for students seeking postgraduate studies.The purpose of our proposed organization is to provide a road map through the application process and educate those trying to pursue post graduate schooling, specializing in pre-med, pre-vet, and pre-grad. We plan to specifically break down the application process step by step. Specifically, the MCAT, GRE, personal statements, letters of recommendations, the timeline of applications, graduate school research, recommended classes etc. Through our leadership our team will attract guest speakers and accumulate valuable information that will increase applicants' success rates when involved with our organization. We will be teaching our members key elements of the process and exactly how to apply to the schools they wish to attend. Our mission is to build on the success of our past members to eliminate the ever-confusing path that comes with post-graduate education ultimately helping the UC Davis student community as a result. We plan to focus on early planning and education, helping build applications, and provide resources for students so that they can understand what is really required of them well before they actually need to start the application process.

The mission for Aggie Chinese Traditional Table Script Community is to provide platforms to gather students, who are interested in traditional Chinese culture ,having a chance to sit together to chat and debate based on the many Table Script Game sets. Table Script Game is a newly culture spread game for ages 18-22 which is highly popular among Chinese students. We are planning to have 8 sets per week to let everyone have a chance to enjoy.We are going to focus the field on Arts and Entertainment, especially in literature, creative arts and theater and comedy shows.
In the future, we will be able to translate this kind of game into English to let all countries have the chance to enjoy it. What's more, this community is going to donate to low income students and disable people, not only in the US but China also.

Aggie Fiction Writing Workshop aims to create a constructive literary environment where students feel welcomed and motivated to improve their creative writing. Our weekly workshops are student-run and student-led with a focus on fiction pieces, but all student-produced works are welcome. Students can volunteer to workshop their stories (finished or not) on specific dates and will have part of that week├óÔé¼Ôäós meeting dedicated to comments and critiques for their piece. In addition, meetings will consist of free-write exercises and other activities designed to stimulate creativity.
