CSI Spotlight Request Form

This form facilitates requests to the CSI Communications Team to SPOTLIGHT your event or call-to-action to Registered Student Organization (RSO) student leaders and the campus community. Available marketing channels include collaborative Instagram posts, the "Daily Dose of RSO" feature, and the "RSO Round Up" newsletter.

Note for RSOs: To ensure every group gets a chance to shine, we can only feature your RSO on "Daily Dose" once per academic year.

** Just a quick update — Daily Doses of RSO will not be available for scheduling from March 9 through April 20 due to priority campaigns. Any requests submitted before March 9 will still be honored. **

Partner's note for campus departments: please be aware that the CSI Communications Team follows/practices the UC Davis Branding Guidelines for all marketing and promotion. We may propose necessary edits to your submitted materials to ensure compliance before sharing. The Daily Dose of RSOs is your chance to shine! This spotlight series celebrates the amazing work, events, and impact of Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) across campus. Each week, we feature two RSOs through engaging video content shared on our Instagram, giving your organization valuable exposure and a chance to connect with the campus community. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis! Once you submit the form, you’ll receive an email or Instagram DM with next steps, including how to schedule your filming appointment.

Please plan for a three-week lead time between your request and your ideal post date. This helps us accommodate any edits and ensures a high-quality feature for your group.

RSO Round Up (Bulletin Post)

The RSO Round-Up, our CSI bulletin newsletter, is distributed to RSO student leaders once or twice a month—typically during the 2nd and/or 4th week—depending on the volume of content. Drafts are prepared on Mondays, and the newsletter is sent out via email on Wednesdays at 5 PM
