About Us
Sunatya is the classical Indian dance team at UC Davis. We focus on dance forms in Southern India, primarily Bharathanatyam. Our goal is to incorporate the ancient art form of Bharathanatyam with modern choreography to present enticing and engaging performances for all to appreciate and enjoy. We hope to provide a positive atmosphere where all members can interact, work together, and grow as artists. As a team, we aim to challenge and motivate one another to dance to our highest capabilities, while still having fun. This year, we hope to perform at many fundraising opportunities and eventually hope to compete at intercollegiate competitions!
