About Us

The PBGSA facilitates social and academic interaction of graduate students within the Plant Biology Graduate Group (PBGG), serve as a forum for student input into PBGG affairs, and communicates concerns to the PBGG and Graduate Student Association. PBGSA represents Plant Biology graduate students at the Plant Biology Graduate Group Executive Committee and Graduate Student Association. We foster participation in the graduate group through assisting in hosting prospective students and orienting incoming students and through the annual summer gathering and camping trip. We facilitate academic development through our annual Fall Colloquium. Finally, we encourage collaboration and friendship in our graduate group by encouraging monthly and yearly gatherings for students.
