About Us

Older Wiser Learners (OWLs) is a community for non-traditional students at UC Davis. Currently, there are close to 2,000 students ages 24+ at the University. OWLs members provide support for each other, both academically and professionally, and make the transition back into school easier for adult students. A key benefit of OWLs involvement centers on the introduction to other mature, life-experienced people with similar interests. Group members share academic success strategies, socialize, network, and engage in on and off campus activities.
