About Us
The aim of MISIG is to create a fun and welcoming space for students to explore and practice medical improv. Medical improv applies the theatre principles of improvisation, or improv for short, to strengthen medical trainees' quick thinking, communication, and collaboration skills which are essential to navigating the complex clinical environments in which we learn and work. In medical improv, these skills are taught and practiced via selected improv group games. Given its format, medical improv is a refreshing space to learn while decompressing, connecting, and laughing with your fellow medical students! We are excited to welcome you to MISIG!
