MECHA is a student organization that promotes higher education, cultura, and historia. MECHA was founded on the principles of self-determination and liberation for Chicanx and has evolved to promote healing, education, and unity for all Latinxs. We believe that political involvement and education is the avenue for change in our society. MECHA is grounded in a philosophy, not a nationality. It is a movement, working with all those who acknowledge and work towards the betterment of our communities, regardless of ethnicity.
