EXTERNAL OPPORTUNITIES
KLOHC Sudent-Run Clinic Recruitment
Knights Landing One Health Center is recruiting medical clinic volunteers! We are seeking motivated undergraduate volunteers to join us as trainees for the remainder of the year and clinic volunteers for the upcoming term. Knowledge or fluency of Spanish is not required and individuals of any major are encouraged to apply!
As one of the UC Davis student run clinics, we aim to provide linguistically competent and culturally sensitive healthcare services to the rural underserved in the Knights Landing area. We seek to fill the gap in primary care services and health education, with particular emphasis on women, adolescents, and farmworkers. Our goal is to provide community-centered care by maintaining a high level of community engagement and empowerment, and by continuing to collaborate with other organizations. We are striving to follow a One Health model, linking human, environmental, and animal health. We also provide learning opportunities for undergraduate, graduate, and medical students in rural health, nurturing their growth as community leaders and advocates. Attend our information sessions to ask any questions you may have and to learn more about what we do as an organization! Application Link: https://forms.gle/SNkEydYDnMyNTtrT7.
Applications will be due Jan 22 at 11:59PM. If you have any other inquiries, feel free to email us at klclinic.ucdsom@gmail.com or visit our Instagram which has all the information you need: @knightslandingclinic. Thank you!
