UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH FAIR
The Undergraduate Research Center (URC) is excited to invite you to participate in the inaugural Undergraduate Research Fair (UR Fair) where faculty members will share information about their research projects and discuss available positions for undergraduate students like you.
The UR Fair is a unique opportunity for you to explore the diverse and cutting-edge research projects happening right here on our campus. Whether you are passionate about science, humanities, social sciences, or any other field, you'll find a wide range of research topics and opportunities to get involved. The fair will provide an opportunity to expand your knowledge, engage with passionate researchers, and possibly find inspiration for your own projects.
The UR Fair is open to students of all academic levels and majors. Whether you're a first-year student looking to explore research for the first time or a fourth-year seeking more specialized opportunities, we invite you to join us to learn more about the research process and sponsored research programs.
What to Expect:
- Learn About Research from Faculty: Gain insights into the research process, methodologies, and the impact of research in various disciplines. Faculty members will share their ongoing research projects and provide insights into their objectives, significance, and contributions to their respective fields.
- Learn about Available Positions: Faculty will highlight potential roles for undergraduate student involvement. Discover research assistant positions, internships, and other opportunities for which you can apply. This is a chance to meet professors and discuss your interests in person.
- Networking: Connect with fellow students who share your interests and faculty who are eager to engage with undergraduate researchers. Receive guidance as to how you can help to develop valuable skills; and contribute to your academic and professional development.
