About Us

Las Raíces Pre-Law Student Association is an on-campus undergraduate organization that promotes diversity in the legal field. We aim to successfully aid underrepresented students in the admissions process, and direct them to career paths suited to their wants and needs. We do this by providing workshops in LSAT practice, resume building, personal statement assistance, academic success, and by providing a community-based environment. In addition, we provide a strong network for our members by bringing in Law School staff, and attorneys from the area to come and speak to our organization. Furthermore, our members acquire skills from the resources provided by our organization, to promote a progressive and diverse community. We give back to our community each year, by hosting workshops and awarding an annual scholarship for AB540/undocumented students on campus. Las Raices Pre Law would like to welcome anyone interested in potentially pursuing a career in the legal field!
