NLG was the first integrated bar association and exists to this day as a network of progressive lawyers, legal workers, jailhouse lawyers, & students. Our student chapter advances social justice by supporting activists and encouraging critical discussion
The King Hall National Lawyers Guild is a student chapter of the national umbrella organization the National Lawyers Guild. We are a professional bar association made up of a coalition of lawyers, law students, legal workers and jailhouse lawyers dedicated to using the law as a tool for the advancement of social justice. We provide legal support to organizers and activists in the form of Know Your Rights Trainings, Legal Observing, policy analysis, legal advocacy and more.
