Happy New Year!

It has been a crazy few months as the DIG underwent some serious overhauls, and we have some updates for you, starting with our brand new email. We apologize for our silence over the past few weeks, we realized that our gmail account had been blocked and many were no longer receiving our emails.

1) Welcome our new MS1 Leadership

A huge welcome to our new MS1 leaders. We are excited to begin working with you. If you were chosen for an officer position, you should have received a seperate email from AggieLife. Please go and complete your portals. 

Additionally, we look forward to our first leadership meeting. Food will be provided for our new officers :)

2) Upcoming: Suture Workshop

We are excited for an upcoming suture workshop with Dr. Michelle Vy, a Moh's surgeon here at UC Davis. If you are interested in joining, please register at the link below.

3) 2024, What to Expect

We have a lot of exciting event coming up this year. 

We will be working wtih faculty and community dermatologists to try to have monthly lecture series for better exposure on dermatology. Some of the topics will include, preparring for a dermatology residency, community dermatology, cosmetics, career options in dermatology and more! 

A sign up sheet for the dermatology clinic days at Tepati clinic will be sent out to everyone shortly if you are interested. 

We are planning various community projects, workshops and a social to meet the residents as well. More dates and information will be coming to you all soon.
