About Us

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 13, 1913 by 22 devastating divas on the campus of Howard University. The mission of the organization falls under the "5 Point Thrust": Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness and Involvement. Through these programs, Delta Sigma Theta aims to serve the broad and diverse needs of the African American Community.
